Hungary is at the southern part of the green pea growing belt in Europe. Our farmers ensure harvest of continuously fresh raw material within the short production cycle of around 30 days based on a carefully and meticulously created periodic sowing plan.

A wide range of varieties bred in Hungary and neighbouring countries are available through Global Green Company. The Puszta plant processes 20 varieties of green peas, numbering 3,300 metric tonnes across 500 hectares.

Green peas produced at Puszta are available throughout the year, are high in fibre, and have favourable and balanced nutritional profiles consisting of carbohydrates, proteins, and B1-B2 vitamins.

Sanjeev Chadha has a wide range of experience in various industries with different roles all across the world.

He has been leading and continues to lead Jg Containers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a glass manufacturing company in Klang, Selangor for more than 15 years. He led his team to revive the company and succeeded in achieving four folds revenue increase over the last 10 years. Before joining Jg Containers in 1998, he was the General Manager – Finance with Ballarpur Industries Limited (BILT).

He worked there for more than 10 years in various functional areas including Personnel and Administration, Business Planning, Secretarial and Corporate Finance function in India. He headed Corporate Finance for the Dupont project set up in collaboration with Dupont. He has also worked as Senior Financial Analyst with Wells Fargo Bank in the US.

Sanjeev graduated with an MBA from Krannert Graduate School of Management, Purdue University, United States. He also holds a Master Degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Punjab University, India. He is an associate member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a graduate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

Davinder brings over 30 years of extensive experience in managing businesses across diverse industries and geographies.

Before taking over as CEO in August 2024, he spearheaded Global Green’s European business, branded portfolio along with Finance, IT & Supply Chain Management functions. He has been the key architect in the turnaround of Global Green business & charting a clear path for future growth.

Prior to Joining Global Green, Davinder worked with various large conglomerates across India and the UK. His experience spans multiple sectors and includes positions with Religare Group, Veetee Food Group, PepsiCo Inc & Vardhman Industries. During these stints, he was responsible for financial management, tax & regulatory reporting, business planning, compliances, treasury management, FX & insurance risk management and Supply Chain Mgmt.

Davinder is known for his empathy, resilience, and forward-thinking approach. His commitment to Global Green’s success and his dedication to create a positive impact on the industry & community are well recognized. Davinder's comprehensive background and strategic vision make him a pivotal leader, with an ability to drive growth and innovation at Global Green.

Outside of his professional life, Davinder enjoys reading, yoga, playing badminton and golfing. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Punjab University.

Ashutosh started his career in 1996 at VST Industries (VST), Hyderabad, in their Natural Products Division. While at VST, he was also a member of the team that wrote the initial CII-McKinsey Food And Agriculture Integrated Development and Action (FAIDA) Report in 1996. Ashutosh was responsible for managing, developing and executing the growth of the acidified foods segment at VST, through the seed to shelf chain. He managed the company’s key North American accounts and developed new strategic customers in the Asia Pacific region. In 1999, post the acquisition of VST’s food business by Global Green Company, Ashutosh moved to Bangalore and led our sales in North America, Asia-Pacific and India.

With over 25 years of experience, Ashutosh has played a pivotal role in building our robust North American business and maintains long term relationships across the global food retailing industry. His contributions include making Global Green the world’s biggest exporter of pickles and relishes – while also making Global Green the market leader in private label category in Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

He was instrumental in setting up Global Green’s subsidiary in New Jersey, USA, to directly serve end-customers in North America and for introducing Jalapeño as a new crop in India for the Indian and international markets. He has undertaken stints in leading European Sales as well as leading the India Operations during which he successfully delivered the project of integrating the company’s two Bangalore manufacturing facilities. He also has the responsibility of leading Global Green’s new initiatives – in commodity trading, the India branded portfolio and other new projects going forward.

Ashutosh has a Master's Degree in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi and a Bachelor's in Business Studies from The College of Business Studies, Delhi University. Other than reading, his interests include fitness as well as keenly playing some and following several sports. He is an ardent, life-long supporter of Liverpool Football Club.

Vinayak Hegde is a qualified Company Secretary with over 14 years of professional experience in Corporate Governance, Secretarial Practices, Auditing, Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions, Compliance Management, Investor Relations, and Legal Advisory. His expertise lies the Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, RBI/FEMA guidelines, and other applicable corporate laws.

As Company Secretary & Legal, he plays a pivotal role in advising the Board and the Senior Management of Global Green Company on legal and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to statutory obligations, and driving best practices in governance and risk management.

He has expertise in managing the Board and Shareholder processes, handling regulatory filings, conducting legal due diligence, drafting and vetting contracts, and supporting corporate restructuring, M&A, and financing transactions, while upholding the highest standards of transparency and accountability.

Vinayak Hegde is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Karnataka State Law University and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Karnataka University.

Shrishail S Pujar is an Alumni of Sainik School, Bijapur and having a Post graduate degree in Agriculture with more than 30 years of experience in contract farming. He started his career in 1994, soon after the completion of M.Sc. in Soil Science from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka, India.

He is with Global Green since 2019, prior to which he was heading the Agri division at a Swiss based company called Reitzel India for 15 years. His major focus area has been to cater to the vast potential of the groups marketing strength through own contract farming by evolving an appropriate annual Agri Production Program.

He is passionate about his job and responsible for steering all Agricultural operations building a strong network of Agri team to manage more than 8000 farmers annually by designing systems, policies and procedures for overall supervision of various Agri activities like Area planning and assignment, managing timely supply of inputs and usage while continuously seeking ways and means to improve yield and quality by employing the best Agri practices.

He is credited with doubling the farmers yield by implementing drip, mulch and fertigation technology essential for retaining the farmer base required for sustaining the business.

Sreenivasu leads Global Green Company’s quality and food safety functions worldwide. He is responsible for the design, establishment and facilitation of right-first-time quality protocols at all levels of the food chain, with the goal of consistently delivering top quality and safe products to customers. Sreenivasu also supports all product development and is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet the food regulatory standards stipulated by all destination countries.

Sreenivasu began his career as a microbiologist at Sampre Nutrition. He then moved on to the seafood industry, where he worked in quality control for processed crab meat.

Next he spent two years handling quality and food safety for dehydrated vegetables. Immediately prior to Global Green Company, Sreenivasu worked at the Hyderabad operations of Cadbury.

At Global Green Company, Sreenivasu has worked closely with several of the regulatory bodies in countries such as Canada, USA & South Korea. He has led teams at different locations to succeed in US FDA inspections and other third party audits.

Sreenivasu is a Postgraduate in Biotechnology and has a Graduate Degree in Food Microbiology from Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh.

J.S. leads Global Green Company's both the business units in India, where he is responsible for sourcing all raw materials and factory operations.

J.S. started his career in 1991 as a management trainee with ITC AgroTech. he joined VST Natural products (VST) in 1998, a year before it was acquired by Global Green Company. J.S. has been in charge of the Venkatapur factory operations since September 2011. In April 2014, he was promoted to head the Venkatapur Business Unit, including responsibility over the sourcing of all raw materials. In Feb 2016, he was promoted to head the Oblapura Business Unit as well.

J.S. has played a key role in consolidating Global Green Company's two Bangalore factories into the current Oblapura facility. His key achievements in the Venkatapur factory include improving the production capacity of the jar line, improving the relish bulk production capacity and installation of the tomato sauce line.

Santhosh is a proven Supply Chain Professional having 3 decades of experience in Global Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics both international and domestic, SAP Implementation, Spearheading of S&OP process, leading large scale negotiation, Commodity Sourcing, International Sales Management and Heading Operations of large scale business in India including launching and supporting new product development in one of the Indian conglomerates he was associated with.

With over 30 years of experience, Santhosh has played a pivotal role in Europe acquisition, cultural integration and SAP implementation during his last two stints with Global Green over a span of close to 9 years. He has worked in companies like Symphony Comfort Systems, Kanoria Dyechem, GE Plastics, Reliance Retail, Diageo, Jagatjit Industries and Spar Hyper market.

Santhosh was instrumental in indigenising key packaging material for Global Green with substantial savings to the bottom line while creating many processes to make Supply Chain a self-sustaining organization during his previous two stints.

Santhosh is a graduate with Post Graduation in International Management from Bhavans, Lean Operations Management from Alliance. Apart from this, he has attended numerous short term courses including Performance Management from XLRI for a period of 6 months. He is a certified Green Belt in Six Sigma with many accolades for his work that he has performed in various organizations including Global nomination for Productivity Improvement in Diageo.

His latest contribution in Spar before joining Global Green was to set up a seamless Merchandise Planning and Replenishment and Supply Chain over 15000 Skus of Food & Grocery along with Home & Living products. Apart from this, he also attended a INSEAD Executive Program in General Management and Leadership (Sep 2020 to Aug 2022) covering 3 dimensional aspects of Managing Self, Managing the Business and Managing others.

Besides work, his interest lies in reading management books, following football and cricket. He is a lifelong fan of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Brazil team.

Balázs is responsible for Global Green Company’s operations within Europe, including manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, warehousing and S&OP.

Balázs commenced his career with Crocky Chips – United Biscuits, Hungary, where he worked for 9 years, starting as a Trainee and rising to the position of Factory Manager. Thereafter, he moved to Pepsico Snacks (Frito Lay), Hungary as Production Director of greenfield investments. His key responsibilities included hiring new workforce, statutory requirements for a new setup, financial control of the factory, production and purchase. His next career move was to Reckitt Benckiser as Production Director of their factory at Tatabanya, Hungary.

Here, he was responsible for new investments that included setting up of a brownfield site, planning and production. Following this Balázs worked as Production Director with Friesland Hungaria and was responsible for production in 7 plants with a total staff of 2000 employees. His next two assignments were with Brau Union (Heineken) as a Brewery Manager and as a Plant Manager for Vandamne Hungaria, where he helped set up a plant for the manufacture of corn germ vegetable oil.

Balázs has a Degree in Technical Studies (Food and Chemical Industries) from the Technical University, Budapest and a Diploma in Marketing Studies.

Attila joined Global Green Company in June 2014 and heads the agricultural sourcing function in Europe from the Puszta factory in Eastern Hungary. He is responsible for directing and controlling all agricultural operations in Europe, procurement of quality raw materials for European plants, setting pricing, arranging logistics and controlling costs to drive margins. He is also responsible for formulating Global Green Company’s agricultural strategy in Europe and ensuring that raw material plans properly support the long-term growth of the business.

Attila began his career as a practitioner on a cooperative farm in Tiszacsege, Hungary. In 1986, as an exchange student in the USA, he also trained in farming for one year. In 1987 he joined the Debrecen Canning Factory (Deko) as a Purchasing Supervisor, responsible for procurement of fruits & vegetables, providing technical training to farmers on plant technology and planning & managing fresh exports.

He also coordinated and managed raw materials in a joint venture with a Japanese company to produce apple juice concentrate. After spending 9 years at Deko, he moved on to work as Purchase Executive at Topa-Konzerv Kft, where he was responsible for integrating the production of green peas and sweet corn, and for procuring raw materials such as sour cherries, gooseberry, apricot, plum and gherkins for the canning factory of Kokad. In 2003, he joined the Land Registry Office at Debrecen and reached the level of Chief Advisor. The nature of his job allowed him to travel to various farms and stay actively involved with farmers and integrators.

Attila has a Bachelor’s Degree in Crop Production Engineering from the Agricultural University of Debrecen and a Degree in Plant Protection from Janos Balashazy Agricultural Secondary School.

Krishnan has been with Global Green Company since February 2013. He is responsible for S&OP, special projects and critical financial analysis globally that enables the company to focus resources on the most important products and on driving efficiencies through the system.

Krishnan joined Global Green Company with 12 years of varied experience in the food processing industry. He began his career with Monsanto India, as a Plant Executive in November 2001 and moved up the ladder to the position of Plant Manager of its Chemical Division in Silvassa by January 2010. During this period he had been involved in various strategic process enhancement projects and spearheaded key installations and commissioned a variety of projects.

He was rated as a high performing employee and was the recipient of the Global Manufacturing Excellence award, which was awarded by the St. Louis, USA management team. Before joining Global Green Company, he worked as General Manager – Plant Operations at Pepsico India’s Chennai plant.

Krishnan has a BE in Electrical & Electronics engineering from the Karnataka University and is pursuing an MBA (Operations) from Indira Gandhi National Open University. In addition Krishnan is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Lead Auditor for OSHAS 18001 and Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 – 2000 & EMS 14001 Systems.

Mayur Kumar has 18 years of experience in Manging Finance Function having domain expertise in the areas of Financial Planning, Information Technology, Commercial Finance, Analytics, Accounting, Reporting, Liasoning, Tax Planning, Compliance Management, and Investors Relationship.

Prior to joining Global Green Company, he worked with Dabur, Amazon, Airtel and KPMG.

Mayur Kumar is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Bachelor’s in Commerce from Patna University.

Janos Marton is the Head of Operations – Puszta Konserve, GGE Kft. and brings with him rich and diverse experience in handling all technical and administrative aspects including supply chain, quality assurance standards, GMP’s of manufacturing units in multi-national FMCG companies of the food industry.

Janos started his career in 1991 with Kobanyal Brewery, which was later acquired by SAB Miller in 1993 where he was Packaging Line Manager when he left.

He was in Dreher Breweries (SAB Miller), Budapest and had a long stint there till 2011 when he left it as the Packaging Manager. He was in Felfoldi Confectionary unit in 2012. He was at Puszta Konserve Kft from 2012 to 2015 as Plant Head. He was with Scitec Nutrition Ltd. from 2015 to 2019. Prior to joining us again as Operations Head – Puszta, he was with Serioplast Hungary Ltd as a Plant Manager.

Sangotra has more than 31 years of strong and diverse HR experience in different business environments. He has a successful track record in leading HR function with expertise in Talent acquisition, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Engagement, Reward & Recognition and Operational HR.

Before Global Green, he was with BILT from 2014 to 2017, where he was Head HR for the organization and its two subsidiary divisions. Prior to BILT, Sangotra’s work experience was in Bata India Ltd., Otis India and Subros Ltd.

Sangotra is an Economics graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi and Post Graduate in HR from Xavier Institute of Social Services, Ranchi.

Hans Van Duffel is the AVP Sales Director Europe and fully responsible for the sales of our products throughout the European markets. He joined Global Green in 2014 as General Manager- Sales, Europe (via his management company Equinox-consult). Hans has greatly contributed to overall commercial growth by continuously extending Global Green’s footprints in the European markets.

After studying at the University of Londrina in Brazil, Hans obtained his master’s degree in Economics and Business Sciences in Brussels. He started his career as financial controller officer on board the ships of Holland America where his passion for the food and beverage industry became apparent. After being on the seas for 5 years, he touched base in Antwerp, Belgium and entered in Carrefour’s Management Program to become a Director for Carrefour Belgium where he worked for 5 years.

With his growing passion for the food industry with a focus on private label, he became Export & Country Manager for Greenyard Foods looking after European and international markets. There he learned the tricks of the trade of the private label agricultural food production industry.

Throughout his career, Hans has obtained several degrees through different business schools on strategic negotiation, crisis management and human behaviour, situational management and leadership.

Hans is proficient in 6 languages and has lived in Brazil, Spain, France and Belgium.

Ananya joined Global Green Company in December 2012 and is responsible for legal and company secretarial matters globally. She also heads all compliance processes.

Ananya began her career as a management trainee with BOC, India in 1996, and thereafter moved to Peerless Securities India, as Company Secretary.

She then worked with Karvy Securities, Samsan International, Ma Foi Management Consultants and Fanuc India in secretarial and legal roles. Prior to joining Global Green Company, she worked as Company Secretary for Amba Research.

She is qualified as an Associate Company Secretary (ACS) and an LLB from Karnataka University.

Ganesh has been leading the Oblapura business unit since August 2014 and is responsible for the sourcing of all raw materials and factory operations.

Ganesh began his career in 2000 with Indian Refrigerators (part of the Videocon Group), where he worked in the production function. He then moved to Essilor India, a French ophthalmic lens manufacturing company, where he was responsible for planning. He joined Global Green Company in the commercial function as a core part of the team that set up the greenfield factory in Oblapura, Bangalore, in 2004. Subsequently, he handled important project based roles in process improvements and MIS. In 2006, Ganesh left Global Green Company and joined Accenture, where he worked for two years as a Senior Retail Consultant. Implementing SAP at Dabur (H&B Stores) was his major accomplishment at Accenture.

In 2008, Ganesh re-joined Global Green Company as Senior Manager – Planning & MIS. During his tenure at Global Green Company, Ganesh has spearheaded the global SAP implementation project and has also been instrumental in institutionalizing Sales & Operations Planning at the global level. He has been involved with several strategic projects across the company, which has given him the opportunity to work closely with different operating areas.

Ganesh is an Industrial and Production Engineer with a Degree from Kuvempu University.

Ravi’s started his career was with ITC and Gujarat State Fertilizers. In 1997 he joined VST Natural Products (VST) as a Business Manager, handling the pickle and spice business for North America, including key accounts such as Dean Pickles, USA and Bick’s, Canada. In 1999, VST was acquired by Global Green Company and Ravi moved from Hyderabad to Bangalore, assuming responsibility for sales in Europe and Russia, where he helped the company achieve significant growth. Ravi left Global Green Company to join Reliance Retail in 2006. At Reliance Retail, he had end-to-end responsibility over imported produce for store formats – Reliance Fresh, Reliance Super and Reliance Hyper.

He was responsible for developing direct sourcing, international logistics, cold chain, distribution and display & promotion. Ravi rejoined Global Green Company as Country Manager, Belgium, in 2008 and returned to India to assume the role of Vice President – Sales (India, Russia & Middle East) in 2011.

Ravi has a Bachelor’s in Agriculture from BA College of Agriculture, Anand Campus, Gujarat University.

Mr. Sharad Sanjay Sen has over 40 years of expertise in HR and Business Strategy roles across a wide range of industries including Engineering, Hospitality, Consumer Products and Banking. His experience base is in a wide spectrum of organizations from large multinational firms such as Gillette and Citibank to promoter-owned conglomerates in international markets of Asia, USA and Europe in national, regional and global roles.

His core competencies are grounded in spearheading organizational transformation, shaping high-performance cultures and building robust people development programs that have successfully attracted and retained top talent.

Mr. Sen holds a post-graduate degree in Human Resource Management from India’s premier institute XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Mr Vijayakumar Kilar Balakrishna has over four decades of experience as a Management Professional. He was the Managing Director of Fowler Westrup India Pvt Limited for about 15 Years. Prior to joining Fowler Westrup, he had worked with US and Indian MNC’s as Business Head. He has been actively involved in Market and New Product development around the Globe. He has traveled to different countries to forge ties for Technology Transfer and Develop New Markets. Has been extensively exposed to implementation of new initiatives through Total Quality Management, Business Process Re-Engineering, Six Sigma and other Modern Management Concepts.

His experience of over 43 years ranges from Sales, Marketing, Application Engineering, Dealer Management, Manufacturing, Technology Sourcing, Profit Centre Head, CEO and advisor to Board. Outside of his Professional duties, he was actively involved with CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) and headed the MSME panel of CII Karnataka for three years.

He is currently on the Boards of several companies and is extending professional advice as sector specialist in the field of Agro Processing.

Mr. Kabir Suri holds a degree in Economics and Business Management from Wheaton College, Massachusetts, USA.

His professional career began in the field of commercial real estate finance with North Fork Bank in New York followed by Argent Fund Management in London as a credit risk analyst.

Mr. Suri’s personal interests in the food and hospitality segment led him to shift focus from finance to the hospitality sector where he spent 3 years with International award winning restaurants Zuma’ & Roka’ restaurants.

Mr. Suri is a co-founder and director of Azure Hospitality Private Limited. He has played an intrinsic part in developing and managing the company brands Mamagoto, Dhaba, SLY granny, Foxtrot and Pali Hill.

Ms. Suchita Bhandari has over three decades of experience as heading the various Agri/ Forestry projects with strong R&D, production and community contract farming field experience both Indian and International and a proven track record of performance in various assignments handled till date. She was a part of team working on research project for Michigan Tech University, USA “Cellulose Biosynthesis in Aspen”, Published two research papers on the subject.

She is a Doctorate in Agri Science from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, Punjab, India and Post Doctorate, Fellow Cambridge University, England, on scholarship from the trust of “Royal Commission For The Exhibition of 1851” London. She is currently a Chief Executive Officer of Urvara Krsi Pvt. Ltd, an agroforestry business enterprise.

Paul-Bernard Poupon is the Managing Director of 1707 Capital, a strategic holding company with a European entrepreneurial legacy and a presence in high-growth markets. Ms. Sabiana Anandaraj brings close to four decades of leadership experience, with a strong focus over the last decade on partnering with top-tier Indian law firms to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and board-level governance effectiveness.

She has held leadership positions at leading Tier 1 Indian law firms such as Trilegal, Luthra & Luthra and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, where she led initiatives to professionalise operations, implement industry best practices, introduce strategic pricing frameworks, strengthen financial management, and optimise firm-wide profitability and growth. Her work has included institutionalising firm-wide KPIs, driving cultural alignment, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting leadership teams in navigating complex organisational change.

She is the Founder of Cuerate Professional Services Aggregator and supports law firms in their business transformation journeys, ranging from strategic planning and execution to operational restructuring, leadership alignment, governance strengthening, and building resilient organisational systems.
